How to Make Your Creamsicle Dirty Soda
Step 1 – Prepare your can
Fill a clean 500ml Can Café PET can approximately one-third full with crushed ice.
Step 2 – Add the orange soda
Slowly pour in 250ml of chilled orange soda, allowing the fizz to settle naturally.
Step 3 – Add the vanilla magic
Add 15–20ml of vanilla syrup and stir gently to distribute the flavour without losing too much carbonation.
Step 4 – Create those beautiful cream swirls
Slowly pour the cream over the ice and orange soda. Watch as the cream cascades through the bright orange liquid, creating beautiful marbled layers.
Step 5 – Serve and enjoy
For immediate enjoyment, serve with a straw and gently stir before drinking.
For takeaway presentation, leave suitable headspace and follow your Can Café machine and lid instructions before sealing.
Can Café Tips
Make it Instagram-worthy: Pour the cream slowly over the back of a spoon to create beautiful layers that look incredible through a clear PET can.
Keep everything chilled: Cold ingredients help maintain the refreshing flavour and fizzy finish.
Make it your own: Experiment with coconut cream, orange syrup or different vanilla flavourings to create your own signature dirty soda.
Create a lighter version: Try a zero-sugar orange soda and reduced-sugar vanilla syrup.
Important for takeaway: Cream and acidic soda can separate, and carbonation can build pressure in sealed containers. This recipe is best made fresh. Do not seal carbonated versions for takeaway until you've confirmed the PET can, lid and seaming system are suitable for pressurised beverages and validated the recipe's storage safety.
